Compared other torque converter parts, the stator is considered to be a soft part prone to ware and tear in the field. When rebuilding a torque converter, it is often a good idea to put in a new stator. All E.G.I. engineered and produced TC stators are machine-finished to customers’ (rebuilders) installation requirements for best performance. We offer TC stators made of cast and machined aluminum alloy as well as machined steel billets for racing applications. As a custom-specific project, E.G.I. produces and supplies these TC stators with better performance and longer life at a well below market rate of cost (factory-direct cost pricing).
